Transactional ledger, never overwritten
Every inventory event (receipt, pick, pack, transfer, adjustment, return) creates an immutable ledger entry. If something doesn't add up, trace it back to the exact moment it happened and who was responsible.
Oldest stock ships first, every time
CanShip allocates inventory using FIFO. When an order is allocated, the system automatically draws from the oldest received stock. Lot and batch tracking for FIFO compliance on Pro and Enterprise.
Catch shortfalls before they become stockouts
Set low-stock thresholds per SKU, per location. When inventory drops below your threshold, CanShip flags it in the dashboard, in daily reports, and optionally by email.
Stockout doesn't mean fall apart
When a SKU hits zero and orders keep coming, CanShip queues them as backorders. When stock arrives and is received, the system auto-retries allocation. No manual intervention required.
Your storefront always knows what you actually have
After every pick and pack, CanShip writes inventory levels back to Shopify in real time. No oversells. No manual sync. Amazon and WooCommerce writeback on Grow and above.
