What you get from a Canadian-built WMS.
Most warehouse platforms can ship a Canadian package. The differences show up in the everyday details: what currency your invoice arrives in, which carriers we treat as priority work, where your client data sits, and who picks up when something goes wrong.
Canada Post, Purolator, Canpar and FleetOptics are built in, on every plan. New Canadian regional carriers our customers ask for are priority work for us, rather than something deferred the way they usually are on US-built platforms.
Your warehouse data, your client data, your shipment history, all hosted in Montreal. No US data flow in normal operation, and the handful of exceptions are published on our security page rather than buried.
Breakthrough Studio is our fulfilment company and it ships every day on CanShip. When something breaks we feel it before you do, and we fix it because we have to work in it tomorrow morning.
Stock, allocations and holds are written at the database layer with who moved it, when, what triggered it, and the count before and after. When a number looks wrong you can see why instead of guessing.
We are a small Canadian team. Ask a hard question and the answer usually comes from someone who wrote the code, in your timezone, without a ticket queue in between.
Pricing, plans, and the practical stuff.
Is there a free trial?
Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. You get the real product, not a sandbox, so you can connect a store and ship live orders through it.
What currency are invoices in?
All CanShip invoices are issued in Canadian dollars. Your card is charged in CAD. No currency conversion, no FX fees.
What happens if I go over my shipment cap?
You keep shipping. Shipments over your cap are charged at your plan's per-shipment rate: 15 cents on Starter, 10 cents on Grow, 7 cents on Pro. Nothing stops and nothing else changes.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Which carriers do I get?
All of them, on every plan. Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx Canada, UPS Canada, FleetOptics, Canpar and more, with rate shopping across whichever ones you have connected.
Is my data stored in Canada?
Yes. All data is hosted in Montreal. We do not store Canadian data on US servers. Our security page has the full picture, including the disclosed exceptions.
Talk to us. We will figure it out together.
Quick call, usually 30 to 45 minutes. We will ask about your warehouse, your volume, and what is eating your day. Then point you to the right plan, or tell you if we are not the right fit.
