Stallion Express integration

Stallion Express, in your CanShip rate shopping.

Connect your Stallion account with an API token. Stallion's services are rated beside your other carriers, and you buy the label in one step. US rates come back duty-paid, with the duty included.

What this integration does

What you can do with Stallion Express in CanShip.

Rates

Your Stallion services, side by side

CanShip rates the services enabled on your Stallion account and shows each one by name, beside your other carriers.

Labels

One step to a label

Buy the label at the packing station and CanShip stores the PDF with the shipment, ready to print or reprint.

Retries

No double charge on a retry

Every purchase carries a key Stallion honours for 24 hours, so if a buy times out and CanShip retries, Stallion returns the same label instead of charging again.

To the US

Duty-paid US rates

Stallion quotes US shipments duty-paid, and the rate you see includes the duty.

Before you buy

Missing product details named

A US parcel needs a 10-digit US HS code and a country of origin on each product. CanShip checks before calling Stallion and names each SKU that's missing one.

Channel sync

Tracking back to your store

When you buy the label, the tracking number goes back to the order in Shopify or Extensiv Integration Manager.

Setup

From API token to first label.

Step 1

Create a token in Stallion

In Stallion, go to Settings, then Integrations, then API, and create a v5 token with the rates, shipments, labels, addresses and products scopes.

Step 2

Add it in CanShip

On the Carriers page, set up Stallion Express and paste the token. It's stored encrypted.

Step 3

Get US products approved

For US shipments, give each product a 10-digit US HS code and country of origin, and get it approved for duty-paid shipping in your Stallion account.

Why this integration is different

Stallion without a second login.

One screen
No switching to Stallion's site

Rate, buy and print Stallion labels from the same packing station as every other carrier.

Plain answers
Stallion's refusals, in words

If Stallion refuses a label, for an empty credit balance or a product it hasn't approved, CanShip shows the reason instead of a generic error.

Plan availability

Available on every CanShip plan.

Every plan
Your own Stallion account

Stallion Express is on Starter, Grow, Pro and Enterprise, like every carrier CanShip supports.

Pricing
No fee per label

Labels are paid from your Stallion account, as they are today. CanShip adds no fee per label. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial.

Honest about the edges

Two things to know.

Better you hear these now than at the packing station.

Close-out

No End of Day in CanShip

Stallion works by drop-off and pickup, so there's no manifest to close in CanShip.

US products

US approval takes lead time

Stallion approves each product for duty-paid US shipping, including its manufacturer details. Until a product is approved, Stallion won't sell a US label for it.
